Vidoll to disband in May

Visual-kei band, VIDOLL has announced that they will disband in May.  The reason given for their disbandment is that each member has different opinions in music with different visions for the future.  Some members will be running a bar or a ranch, while the vocalist of the band, Jui will start his solo career.  According to the members, this is a positive disbandment, so they asked the fans to watch over the members.

VIDOLL is a 5 members group that formed in 2002.  After some times of changing members, they eventually debuted as a major group in 2009, and if you include their indie days, they’ve released 21 singles and 13 albums in all.  Their popularity was growing, but they’ve been on hiatus ever since Jui received treatment for his throat back in September of 2010.

VIDOLL will be releasing their best album titled “BEST” on January 19th, and will also hold a disbandment live concert on May 7th at Studio Coast in Shinkiba, Tokyo.  Jui’s solo debut album will be released on April 20th, and it will include a new song which shows his thoughts for VIDOLL.

Daftar konser di tahun 2011 kelihatannya akan semakin panjang. Setelah beberapa waktu lalu Janet Jackson diumumkan akan menggelar konsernya, kali ini giliran Bruno Mars, idola baru para wanita, yang akan dijadwalkan akan menggelar konsernya di Jakarta pada tanggal 5 April 2011.

Promotor dan bos dari JAVA Musikindo, Adrie Subono, baru saja mengumumkan kepastiannya mendatangkan Bruno Mars sore ini via akun twitternya. "BRUNO MARS Jakarta Concert Selasa 5 April 2011 Confirmed!! @javamusikindo," begitulah bunyi tweet pengumuman yang dikeluarkan om Adrie Subono.

Konfirmasi ini sekaligus mengakhiri isu dan spekulasi tentang jadi atau tidaknya Bruno Mars datang ke Indonesia.

Menurut JAVA Musikindo, penjualan tiket akan dimulai tanggal 3 Februari 2011. Siap-siaplah menabung supaya tidak kehabisan tiketnya.

Gorillaz - The Fall

A nice Christmas and New Year gift from Gorillaz. An album created by Damon Albarn with his iPad and the album is available for free download (only for members of Gorillaz's fan club though). If you're not interested in aving it, ypou can just stream the entire album in Gorillaz's official website.

A huge difference here from the orevious Plastic Beach. The Fall focused on more electronic sounds, rather than cool synth beats they produced in Plastic Beach. I wish I had an iPad and know what application Damon Albarn used for this album.

Still, it's a pretty good album as you can expect from Gorillaz. Let's hope Damon Albarn won't stop producing more musics for Gorillaz
